I like the girl in the thigh highs, but the rest looks like crap. She would look so much better on a classic desktop without being covered my icons of apps that could easily be pulled up when needed from the start menu.

Great unintentional example of why start screen blows.

I'd rather see a nice looking girl on a usable UI versus just being covered with open windows, widgets, and icons to the point the wallpaper just becomes a nice thing to have. I don't know, just me.

Well the minute you launch a metro app, she will be covered 100 percent. Won't see her at all anymore.

The minute you maximize a window, that pretty body and face is out of sight as well.

But I don't have to maximize a window..but the lackluster metro app will certainly cover your full screen top to bottom and will either consume 320px wide of your screen or the remainder. At least with my window, I can size it appropriately and still see her legs and heels.

Even still, just one window or multiple windows ends up putting the covers over a very fine looking lady. And then, what's the point in discussing this if all you see is here legs and heels when I and loquacious can see more of the goods?
