Your system is very likely bugging out on you with the freezes in this thread and your problems with the pink screen in the other thread because of what I already told you a few times: The Creative card.

Honestly? I know you aren't going to follow this and don't even expect you to and that is fine. But if that was my card, I'd find the nearest trash and put it in there. For real. Then if I had nothing else, I would use the excellent onboard Realtek HD.

But since you aren't going to do that (I just have a feeling lol) - why don't you let me see what I can do about new drivers for it? You can right click on it in device manager. Choose Properties | Details tab. Change dropdown to say Hardware Ids. Copy/paste the results shown below to here. (Please no screenshots instead - makes it more difficult for me since then I can not copy/paste.)

Uploading the Collector logs again .

So i had removed the card and drivers, but the system still hanged. But there is one thing i did not run the driver sweeper after removing the card. Does that mean some registry files were still there which can cause the freeze ?

I also want to throw this card away . Its been long since it was serving me without problems but now i think it time

lol let's update those drivers and no matter what, it is needed to do anyhow and will be a good thing. I'll probably be able to get new ones for it with the hardware id info from the copy/paste.

(Creative is notorious with drivers - just so ya know my train of thought here - especially older ones.)

Edit: It's a shame you have 64 bit Windows, or I'd easily be able to make you 2010 drivers without hoops to jump though.

This is an update though, still from 2009, but newer than what you have. Download and install from the top link:

You're welcome. See the edit in my previous post. Use device manager to install. Right click Creative. Update driver software. Browse my computer. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse.

Now find the P17.inf in the extracted folder of the download. Double click on it. Click ok then click next and it will install.

The version you have now is 5.12.1.2018 and after the update, it will be 5.12.1.2020.

Awesome. I noticed that the old 2018 version of the driver was for "testing" - maybe that testing forced Creative to make the driver you have installed now haha.

Why don't you re-enable the hardware acceleration for the Flash and give it some testing to see if it pink screens now or not?
