How to Create a Pin for a User to Sign in or Unlock Windows 8

This tutorial will show you how to create a 4 digit pin for your user account to use to sign in and unlock Windows 8 with. You can use both the pin and/or password.

   Tip

Change your password or pin often to minimize the risk of losing any sensitive data.

Here's How:


1. On PC settings.

2. Then select Users and then click 'Create a pin'

3. Now you will need to provide confirmation by entering in your current password

4. After that you can then enter in your 4-digit pin that you will use to unlock or logon to your machine

5. Now if you ever want to remove or change the pin just return to the control panel and change the pin
