Created a separate partition to install Windows 8 to permit dual boot with either XP or Windows 8. Windows 8 install went well until first attempt to boot up Windows 8. Got error message saying operating system couldn't be load because a required file is missing or contains errors. Error code was 0x000000e and File: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
winload.exe was installed in the Windows 8 partition ... so I don't know how to interpret the error message or what to do about it.
any ideas?
