Windows back up and multi-OS installation

As the Toshiba laptop with windows 8 pre-installed, please suggest a way to retrieve the genuine product key.
After this if I need windows 8 back I have to use the repair disk then the windows image right?

You will not need a genuine product key to reinstall Windows 8 on your Toshiba Notebook as it is coded in to the BIOS.

You will need a genuine product key to install Windows 7.

Thank you theog,I have installed windows 7. Please assist in rolling back the process back to Windows 8.
I have system image backup & system repair disk.

I have formatted win 8 and installed win 7 on my toshiba laptop. Now my purpose is over so please help me installing win 8 back.

Before win7 installation I had taken a windows system image (CP>Windows 7 file Recovery>Create a system image)
and took a system repair disk (CP>Windows 7 file Recovery>Create a system repair disc>.

1) Restore the UEFI/BIOS back to the Windows 8 settings.

2) Boot the system repair disk in UEFI mode.

3) Run Restore system image.
