Solved Windows 8 Store Not connecting

Try changing your DNS servers. That is what fixed most of the problems I was having.

If you can't find where to change them, and the program DNS Jumper works very well.

Tried that and still store app wont open. Might have to do a reset.

Yes my anti virus is up to date.

Yes Ive tried running DNSJumper a few times and still nothing.

I did a refresh and got it working. Had to re-install all my programs but I only had a couple so it wasn't to bad.

I finally got the Store to work. I tried a few different things and what finally worked was a Refresh. The only things that I lost were the apps that I installed such as Microsoft Office and a few others. I did not lose any files. Even though I lost Excel and Word, it saved all the files that I created. It even save the way I had the desktop setup. So I was satisfied. If any of you do it, make a pot of coffee first because you'll have time to drink a couple of cups. Never-the-less I was pleased the way things went.
