This is not true. Yes, you can be logged in with a local account and access the store without issue.
I am doing it now.

Well it's partially true. You can click and go to the Store and browse apps.
But if you wish to view "My Apps" or purchase an App, you must then log in.

At least it's that way on this machine.

You want to find an alternative place to download from? why? you think this alternative site is safer than Microsoft?

You can always fall back to the Windows 7 versions of these titles as seen in some previous posts.

As Windunce mentioned, there are some playing differences from the previous version in the new Solitaire, particularly Klondike.

Anyone figure out how to auto-play the cards? In the Vista/7 version of Solitaire, you right-click the 'table' and any playable cards go up to the stacks. This was a great way to have some very fast play times and high scores. In the Windows 8 version, you have to manually double-click to place cards up in the stacks, or drag them there.

Is there a key to press to get this to work again? If not, is there a way to suggest features for these Apps? I would rather get the functionality back in the new version than have to install the previous version.

The Klondike Solitaire + has an Error ! When stacking the cards, The King of Clubs & The King of Spades have been switched, that is The King of Clubs will only go on The Spades pile & The King of Spades will only go on The Clubs pile ! [h=2][/h]
