Windows 8 Error on install (DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION)

Am getting exactly the same error actually, just had another look now and posted log below.

I am thinking it might be software related now, I am tempted to try and sort it and then reinstall a fresh copy on. But think I am going to just reinstall a fresh copy now as not sure if I can be bothered to keep doing this again!

Well in the end I had to reinstall a fresh copy to get it working. First time it wouldn't install so just installed again and that seemed to do the trick.

I got a feeling it might of had something to do with my storage drivers. In order to get my old mobo working with my SSD takes a lot of faffing around. Have to use normal drivers which makes the system hang, then install nvidia drivers. After that go into each setting in device manager and set it to use default drivers and then it works!
