Hi!
I've been trying to install Windows 8 since forever on my computer. Every time I install Windows 8 on my computer, it works fine until Windows update downloads the driver and installs it, or if I manually install my Bootcamp Support software drivers. Now since the release of Windows 8.1 I've been trying the same without any luck. Intel does not want to provide any support for Apple computers and Apple does not respond to my bug reports. I also downloaded the driver from the Intel site and as soon as it starts installing I get a black screen.
The only I solved this problem was by booting to safe-mode and uninstalling the driver. This is not a permanent fix because running on generic Windows drivers does not give the full potential of the graphics card. I also saw a lot of other people having the same problem, but a lot of them have dual graphics, my computer just has Intel's HD 3000.
Anyone that had this problem before, or knows how to fix it, please let me know.
My specs are as following:
Mac mini Server - Mid 2011
Intel Core i7 - 2635QM - Intel HD 3000
16GB Corsair Mac Memory - DDR3 1333MHz
1TB 7200RPM HDD + 120GB 320 Series Intel SSD
Windows 7 Currently running fine.
Thanks in Advance!
