#1. I created an MS-DOS Startup Floppy Disk on my Toshiba Satellite Model C75D-B7304 laptop with 64-bit Windows 8.1, and AMD A6 APU, and 4G RAM, and 1 TB HD.
#2. I then went to F2 & F12 to boot to an external USB floppy disk drive.
#3. The computer then tried to boot from the USB external floppy disk drive with the MS-DOS Startup Floppy Disk, but I got the following error message:
CLIENT MAC ADDR: 00 8C FA 88 38 44
GUID :369810B0-5F08-11E4-AF03-008CFA883844
PXE-E53: No boot file name received
PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM. No bootable device -- insert boot disk & press any key.
#4. Has anyone ever booted from an external USB floppy disk drive in Windows 8.1?
#5. Also, I configured my computer to go to Safe-Mode on startup if I press F8, but when I get there, the keyboard is frozen, & I can't use the up or down keys or the enter key, so I have to re-start.
