Hi,
I'm new to this forum and have a problem which it seems many others have experienced...
Everytime I start my computer, the clock on the lower right hand corner of the desktop is wrong.
If I re-synchronize it, it remains correct until I turn off the computer.
I'm running Windows 8.1 and have an Asus Z97-A motherboard.
When I go into BIOS, the clock doesn't seem to be advancing (I'm guessing that the time on the BIOS clock should show advancing seconds).
When I searched for a solution online, I read lots of "fixes" but I don't know what the definitive fix would be. I'm a relative novice when it comes to BIOS, UEFI, etc., so I don't want to screw things up. My computer seems to be working ok, other than the time issue.
One thing I read online was to update the firmware to the most current version. I'm confused as to how to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
jeff
