Hey guys, I hope you can help. Normally I'm pretty decent with fixing my own machines, but this one is evading me. Recently (a week or two ago, probably after an update) I keep receiving a pop-up error stating that "Windows update manager has stopped working..." which stays for a few seconds, disappears, then pops up again a minute or two later. It also seems to be slightly dependent on what I'm doing with my laptop at a certain time (i.e. when I'm watching something using VLC, the pop ups seems to be more frequent - might be just coincidental).
Anyway, I have tried multiple things such as Microsoft's Fixit tool, changing the windows update settings and to no avail. I believe the following log from the event viewer is the culprit, and hope someone with a little more knowledge than me can decipher and lend me a hand. I'm trying to avoid a refresh/reinstall at all costs, so if you can help me out, I appreciate it a lot!
