So far I haven't seen any Windows 8 apps that make sense for a 24-inch monitor. Of course there aren't very many available yet so the question might be better stated as "What Windows 8 apps imagined for tablet or smaller screens would be useful on a 24-inch monitor?" Of course you can run all of them on such a large screen but I've looked at weather and news and find them to be a terrible waste of space. It would seem like running them in a smaller window of your choice (like BlueStac) would make more sense.

- I worked my up from a virtual machine, to a slow 32-bit celeron and now two monitors on my XPS8100. Works great!
