The The! I knew a guy, Jeff Trott, used to play in San Francisco bands The Lifers and The Black Dolls, he went to England in the early 80's - Hooked up with those guys, played with em for a few months. Later the guy started playing with Sheryl Cow, wrote her best songs - I heard it on the damned radio and knew it was his work (I was his sound engineer for a while)
