I installed the Windows 8 Developer Preview, then, after switching to desktop mode, and leaving the computer in idle for some minutes... this BSOD appears:
"SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED". - It doesn't point to any driver or program, nor gives me any error code.
It then saves the memory dump and reboots...
That error only appears when there's high disk usage, e.g. when installing a driver.
After the disk usage has gone away, the system works like a charm. But... if i try installing any software, or if i do anything that increases disk usage, the error comes back.
So after this painful experience with WDP, i wiped it out and installed windows 7 sp1...
But i really want to test this OS... i can reinstall it and send the memory dump file so that you guys can analyse it.
Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: As asked, i have left zip file containing the dump from the C:\Windows\Minidump folder.
