Solved Weird sounds

Well I guess I can mark this solved. As I've said before; it amazes me that this issue hasn't arisen prior to now. One thing that really had me stumped at the beginning and being sure the problem wasn't on my computers was my using Acronis True Image and restoring an image from well before these interruptions started. I hadn't taken into consideration setting in the cloud i.e. Google.
Oh well, thanks again JDS63 for all your input.

So you are saying for sure it was caused by the Chrome extension from Netflix and it's buffer ? New one for me, guess i even learned something from this experience. Oh, make System Restore points too.

As i am not familiar with Netflix, Chrome or even cloud storage, because these things i do not use and have not come to help someone with a similar issue here or anywhere. Hope it is fixed, your are most welcome, again !!

No I'm not saying that for sure. Google Chrome has a "Better Flix" extension for Netflix and I'm saying that extenson may (emphasize may) be the cause. I am sure it is a Google extexnsion of which I had maybe too many. I have disabled most of the extensions on Chrome and the RFI's have ceased. However I am now using Firefox for a while.

Hello JDS. Well I finally got the courage up to test my theory and sure enough; got the RFI. It's "Better Flix" Chrome_extension.JPG

Hiya! Just a thought: Have you tried checking to see if it's not your microphone that's picking up the radio station? It really sounds like it could be that, as I once had a microphone on my old laptop that was just a SingStar mic (as I didn't know I had an inbuilt mic until ages later), which kept picking up a radio station but only at certain times. It could be that?

If this doesn't solve it, really hope you find a solution soon :)

No sweat; maybe my wording wasn't that explicit. It would be interesting for someone else to try the extension and see if they get the interference.

True, try also research the issue of this extension with Chrome over internet see who else may be experiencing it. Maybe it is just Chrome, try using it in another browser or just could be extension itself conflicts with something else, say Sound devices software.
Also said something about a buffer, usually if this is so, it stores it somewhere in a folder on PC, try to keep it cleaned.
Ever want to find files can not locate or are taking up space try this software, real good TreeSize Free - Quickly Scan Directory Sizes and Find Space Hogs

Truthfully i am not familiar with Netflix or Better flix extension or am i interested in using it to let you know if it happens to me.
Best bet is to research it when you have time. Someone out there always has same issue as you, not only one i am sure.

Don't know if it's coincident or not but just had similar experience. Computer unexpectedly shut down due to short power cut while I was watching IPTV. When I restarted Firefox I could still hear sounds coming form that channel although all I had open was starting Google page. Only opening that IPTV channel sound stopped.

Well i have had Windows Media Center before and never had an issue like this happen, knowing WMC buffers it's Live TV and recordings

Thanks for the Treesize link JDS; will check it out.

Your Welcome !! Good luck with that post there, did not look like many members. Try if you can to research it more, possible chances are will happen in any browser if you tried it yet.
Firefox doesn't have "Better Flix" extension or add on. Nor does IE. so it's Chrome specific.

Ahhh....o.k. that i did not know. See if i can find out anything for you. For me coming here is one option, researching on my own was the other option, how i learned a lot on both ends. Rather try myself mostly, but sometimes you get stumped
