How are you liking that Gigabyte video card? I'm looking at getting either the 280x or 290 version of it, but it has mixed reviews.

I hear the 290 is a great card.. I'm loving my 270-OC version and with Gigabyte's windforce cooling fans it stays well below max temps.. Do keep in mind though, I've got a full tower case with a TON of airflow too.. ;) The only issues I've found is a few glitches here and there on games optimized for Nvidia cards, but quality wise it's a great line of GPU's :) Watch Dogs is on ultra except for shadows and I usually average about 30fps.. If I put shadows anything higher than medium the game starts to lag a lot..

Right on. Yeah, I've got a full ATX case set up push-pull, so I have plenty of airflow as well. Right now I had to go back to a 7870 because my 280x was faulty, so I had to remove the graphics mod I was using on Watch Dogs and bump everything back down to medium.

Just have to decide now on whether I want a "recertified" 290 or a brand new 280X.
