Every once in a while I'll find my media PC on when its not actually in use. Likely my wife dusting or our cat walking on my trackball. My motherboards are older and its only the keyboard and mouse that turn it on and only if they are plugged into the PS2 port. If I plug my trackball into the USB port I can't power up the PC with it. The keyboard is wireless with a built in touchpad. It's not just the buttons on the mouse/trackball that will power it up, if I roll the ball just a little it powers up. If I had a mouse I would think it would be even more sensitive to knocks and bumps etc.
