Upgrade Win7 32Bit to Win8 64bit

Are you sure, theog? When downloading upgrade ISO? I'm dual booting 8 x64 with 7worked x86. I downloaded 8 x64 Enterprise Evaluation (fresh install) ISO from my 7 x86.

I don't understand why upgrades would be different. Am I missing something here?

I am sure Thoeg is right.
When I downloaded the files from 64bit Win8 Ent the download time was 7 hrs (I have a max .75 MB speed as I live way out in the country)
Downloading from 32bit Win 7 says it will take 5 3/4hrs at the same speed - so size is much smaller which seems consistent with other download comparisons I've seen for 32bit vs 64bit.

I think the 'Setup.exe' checks your system before downloading the files, so gets the right ones for you.

The upgrade download is not a ISO, setup files only.

I want both copies

If you would like the third version, x64 with uEFI BIOS support. You need to use the tool below.
Forgive my ignorance theog - what is uEFI Bios support - what benefit has it??
