Hiya this is my first post so if I screwed up I apologize in advance.
I was recently given a Toshiba Satellite L875d-S7377 because my friend had bough themselves a new laptop and they didn't need this one anymore, me being without a laptop, they gave it to me. When I got the laptop, the touchpad didn't work, and even after installing the drivers it still did not work. That's issue number one.
Then I decided to reset Windows and the PC back to factory settings because it had a bunch of random files that weren't mine and some programs I didn't like and that sort of thing. After doing so, now the screen brightness won't change either. The brightness option in the charms menu is grayed out and it says "Windows can't adjust the brightness on this display." At the time I'd had TeamViewer installed so I could control it with my tablet, but upon uninstalling it, and restarting the machine, the problem persisted. I have gone into the Device Manager menu and uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the display both from the PC and online (Display is listed as AMD Radeon HD 7520G (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.20)). I went through the Action Center into a Troubleshooting box, where Windows did locate the issue but was unable to solve it, this was what it told me:
At this point I have no idea what to do, and would be fairly grateful if someone has any sort of idea what to do about this issue, for the touchpad I do have a wireless mouse so that's not a huge issue, but for the screen it's fairly frustrating.
