Hey friend. Sorry about that oversight! Unfortunately, I don't think an established poll can be changed or I would jump in and add Joan Rivers to the mix but that might make Johnny Carson roll over a few times. I'll take a different approach next time my friend.

Thank you. I'll live with my decision, but in thinking about it again a few younger comediennes should have been the choices with Lohan or Spears as cohost. OMG that would lead to so much material! The show is generally a "guy thing" and ya gotta throw some eye candy in there too. Usually the wives (or significant others) are lying in bed reading their mags or catching up on FB then go to sleep. Yes?

I was threw after the Jay/Conan debacle.

I too agree, that it's not a Tonight Show without Johnny.

I haven't watched any of those shows in a long time.

If I had to pick one .........Bring back Jay leno.

He's made quite clear on his show that he NEVER EVER wants that EVER. That guy's awesome!

You know... I don't know. I grew up watching The Tonight Show with Jay Leno forever as well as Late Night with Conan and I really thought NBC screwed Conan over BIG time. He moved literally to a different coast, along with most of the crew, relocated in California, only to be fired in eight months because he was still behind Jay Leno at the Tonight Show was pretty much in the Late Night time slot. Jimmy Fallon over here gets basically everything laid out in front of him. Move to California to do the Tonight Show? Nope! Stay in Rockefeller Plaza! We'll build you a new set while we go pull a cast member of SNL to do Late Night! (Still have yet to watch Late Night with Seth Meyers, that's just too weird for me.)

But either way, give Fallon a damned chance. It's the same bloody situation that Jay Leno went through after Carson left after his time.

Problem is though, NBC made the decision to ditch the older demographic and focus on the younger demographic. Fallon's Tonight Show is more or less a classier version of Late Night, quite literally. I don't know what to say about it, it reminds me too much of Late Night with Conan...good memories.

To each their own but I think Craig Ferguson is much funnier than David Letterman or Jimmy Fallon and I do watch his show. Fallon is a nervous-jervous, mumbles when he talks, and is changing the Tonight Show in a way that is displeasing to me. He (or Conan) will never live up to the tradition of Tonight Show Hosting. I don't want something new over there. I've had my fill of Saturday Night Live. I don't need another one. Thanks for sharing your opinion so here's mine.

Oh I know! Craig Ferguson is just so much more awesome than the latter! That's just the thing though, his style of doing a late night show won't suit well for something like the Tonight Show. He's more...goofier to say the least. Honestly, his show is the only show I DVR on my compulator every night. I was doing that with the Tonight Show when Fallon came on, but it's just...eh. I can watch the monologue and that's it. The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson however...that's funny stuff!

I do agree, Fallon doesn't seem so confident, he's like a nervous child performing on stage for the first time. It's weird. When he was on Late Night, he was more relaxed and it felt right. Now since the move, it's like he had to tone it down some to not freak the older demographic out. Even the apple macbook on his desk now doesn't even show the apple logo...

You are quite observant in your TV viewing. Yep, moving to the Tonight Show is quite a move for anyone. Who knows how Craig or any other new host might fare against the legacy of Johnny. Those are some very big shoes to br filled and they may never be worn again.
