Solved stuttering mouse and lag help

Yes it is odd i do have UEFI bios i went in there nothing stated about backwards compatibility at all with this so must be by design, i know the mouse is not usb 3 as it does not have a typical blue colored plug.

No, so far i have not seen a USB 3.0 Mouse or keyboard, it may exist but not to my knowledge. External drive, yes.

Wait a minute here !!! Mean all this time could of been the cause of a bad mouse pad ? You know did not cross my mind, because would think would of tried that. Maybe sensor is dirty too. Thought might of mentioned about cleaning it.

How to clean sensor ???

Sensor on bottom of mouse, just wipe it with a lint free cloth, probably just use mild soap and water. For the rest of mouse, buttons and wheel do the same, try use compressed air through opening you can find blow it out. Wheel sometimes i use a q-tip on edges of it.

I have a Logitech M570 Wireless trackball mouse, i'll pop out ball clean the sensors and ball with a lint free cloth, put ball back in use cloth clean rest off, plus can use compressed air get to inside blow out dust and dirt, with mine get through more where battery goes.

Need to do this periodically, every two weeks or so mattering to how much you use it. Now with a mouse like yours you move it across a mouse pad so also clean mouse pad off to. See this mouse has more more sensitivity and reacts better then a typical mouse, because needs better response for gaming, think, believe because of higher DPI.

so i just notes tonight that for some reason my mouse cursor moved by itself i mean not very far but it moved, i thought maybe someone was controlling it or something but if so they never clicked on anything and only went so far, that i can see what the heck would cause such a spooky thing to happen i did a security scan with my AV and nothing on my system its clean. but it was spooky to say the least. could someone have been connected to my pc? i dont see how i have not any remote tools i used logmein once with norton and alienware, but nothing resent. what should i look for its scary spooky stuff, keep in mind it did not move far but it moved, should i turn of windows remote assistance.

i ruled out the someone connected to my pc i unplugged it from the net and it still did it lol, WTF i have a ghost in my machine lol, I just unchecked something called snap to in mouse pointers area maybe that was doing it time will tell lol. If it does it again i will RMA maybe the mouse .

Well that feature i have on my trackball, it will move the cursor to box asking you to confirm a choice, make it easier for you. To me might of been it unless it was really moving a lot around by itself and clicking. I would uncheck remote assistance for security reasons, unless you use it on network.

Those gaming mouses are more sensitive then traditional ones. This i do not remember you saying it moved on it's own, just stutter and lag of cursor. Although i have heard of this due to virus or some kind of hack into system, sometimes or most of the times just a conflict with something else, other drivers or software.

So not just to a confirmation box, like Yes or No ,O.K. and Cancel ? Network i would think in case of wifi,yes Remote Assistance is checked by default but as said do to security risks uncheck it if not used. For you to feel it was due to a hack in system, virus, think be more erratic movement of the mouse. Sometimes when you download something or open e-mails let it in, sure you know this, did do scans. Try Windows malicious Removal tool also. MRT.EXE at run.

What i am saying is there are other ways besides getting into your network for hacker, but believe it is not this.

Meaning your issues are resolved you feel ? What Anti-Virus do you regularly use ? Let it full scan at least once a week and quick scan everyday ? I use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as second scan, because most feel one does not always get everything.
