Not exactly a BSOD so please forgive me if I've posted in the wrong section.
I've noticed that each morning when I switch my computer on, it gets as far as the Windows logo screen and then shuts down. I then switch the computer back on for a second time, and it starts up correctly.
This happens as regular as clockwork every morning.
I googled and on some website it mentioned disabling the fast-startup feature, which sure enough has fixed my problem. It now starts properly on the first attempt each morning.
My problem is that I would prefer not to disable the fast-startup feature if possible. When I first got my computer I didn't have to disable the feature. It's only recently that the problem started to occur.
Is there anything I can do to find out what is causing this problem?
Thanks.
