I only play World of Tanks, so I'm not a gamer by any means. I get an additional 50% improvement in fps. I have never done SLI before, so I wanted to see how it worked. When I get my next case, I'll get sleeved cables for the power supply and do it right... I build PC's for friends and family, so I need to keep up on things, but I don't need to be "cutting edge". The i7-3770k, running at 4.5Ghz makes me happy!

You guys are why energy costs are so high! Kidding. I'm living off grid right now, solar panels and generator can't handle such a power hog. Maybe someday when I get a power line run. So expensive.

I just added a 2nd GTX-660 SC video card in SLI for the heck of it. These are the latest pics from last Friday's maintenance work. It's running great!

Yea... My yearly electricity bill ( includes heating and water ) is around 1400.- and I totally blame my addiction to Hardware for this. But then again It's probably still cheaper than the hobbies my friends have ( smoking, drinking, etc... ) so I guess I'm kind of cool with that xD

Yep, the fans are set up in a "push, push, pull" configuration to get the air through the radiator and this particular setup is the most effective for my particular setup. The fans are "high static pressure" and are setup to run at a speed determined by the temps, so when the PC is at rest, they are barely turning.

Durahl - I fell the say way about our hobbies! Could be much worse...

Worry about power?

My wife & I dime the lights in the whole apartment block we live in!

To Wit:

2 Sat dishes with 3 FRESAT Boxes attached 2 Humaxs & 1 EchoStar
2 Desktops 2 Laptops 1 surface RT
1 TV is a Panasonic w/VIEE. A Panasonic DVD Home theatre Sound System (VIERA)connected to the TV that talks both ways to connected devices.

All the below are through CAT 5 & WiFi Internet router.

All three TV boxes are connected to my home router& the Panasonic TV. All for downloading software or TV progams.
I have a WD 4TB "MY Cloud" on my net. With about 25 years of data on it.

All computers except the SURFACE are connected to "MyCloud". The Surface can't handle It

My internet is 10MB UP & 50 DWN. It is a fibre cable on UPC here in Ireland.

I will be 85 on Feb 14 & my wife will be 85 in Mach.

Here we go this is my workplace.

The one on the left is a Tv hook on my computer 32 inches (where i watch my movie), the 2 in the center are brand new AOC 27 inches, 2 sets of speakers with a sub (on the floor). Laptop on the right to do some test fast, and on the floor my computer (guinea pig) to all my test (meaning test everything from hard drive to all programs. I do have a couple of hard drives).

I have to mentioned that i repair computer home (part time).

Very nice setup you have there! I have been buying Corsair power supplies exclusively for several years now and I've been very happy with them and hope you will be too. Does the "open" hard drive you have in your case spin? I've always wanted one of the transparent top WD Velicoraptors, but I never found a good deal on one. Nice, clean rig you have there!!

Thank you very much,that drive does not spin on that rig,but did on my backup 775 setup,its a 160 IDE,cant use it on this MoBo,its warming up the seat for another Tera to come!
