Rumour: Win9 RTM October 2014....????

Itching to get a full look at what is in store with Windows 9? Well if this report holds up, you may be in luck, and get a chance to take the upcoming major new version of Windows for a spin later this year.
Most expect Microsoft to release Windows 9 in early 2015.
But there seems to be a chance that the company may actually complete development of the operating system before the year is out, and release it in its traditional year-end time frame. No fuss!

Windows 9 To Hit RTM Status In October 2014, Says New Report |

Yeah...unfortunately learning to take advantage of the features and defaults in 8.1 has fallen on deaf ears.

Yanno, it is the height of hubris to slander others by accusing them of not "learning to take advantage of the features and defaults in 8.1".

We've learned them, and rejected them as garbage, not suitable for use.

@burgurne, check your drivers, Flightsim X worked on my system without any tinkering. Loosing vibration on a joystick sometimes but that was happening on Win7 too.

Windows 9, eh? Hopefully it would come with more options. I kinda feel locked up with Windows 8.1, especially after upgrading from W8 and losing some search options from the charms bar. The W8 ui just feels quite heavy imo. Awaiting this as well
A Start Menu is also expected to make a return in some shape, way or form.
;)

:ditto: FlightSim X works fine on my 8.1 system too. I did a clean install though, not an upgrade though the store. If he did the store upgrade that could explain some of his issues like the BSOD's.
