Well, thanks, this is what I suspected too, a bogus error message.
I clearly saw this message the first time when I booted up Windows 8.1 after installing and using Windows 7. I installed Windows 7 only for the evaluation period anyway to troubleshoot some software. I'll just finish troubleshooting, delete the Windows 7 partition and see if I am still getting this message. If yes, I'll just disable this feature, I have Hard Disk Sentinel on Windows 8.1 anyway.

- Some of the hardware might seem odd (PSU, SSD), but I'm not wasting money on replacing perfectly functional hardware only because a newer version is out. Nor am I willing to pay extortion money for replacements or intended upgrades (GPU, RAM), especially if that "upgrade" has a hardware design flaw (CPU).
