I have "an old fashion motherboard,, with realtek's VT1818S High Definition Audio 8-Channel soundcard build in to the Asus m4a77 motherboard. Usually with W7 windows i had to install the driver from asus's website... so far when i get to the installation point it says:

allthough, this time W8 did install the driver but its delivered by microsoft, High Definition Audio device. well... the card works, if i keep the speakers attachde to the front jack. and the stereo mix capturing doesn't work.none of this package's drivers are compatible with your pc
Any help?
