ProgramData has a WildTangent folder as well as other trashware. Probably best to run ccleaner after deleting to clean up dead shortcuts and registry entries, but make registry backups as ccleaner suggests them CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download

Hi guys,

First, I want File Explorer to open to "My computer" instead of "Libraries."

I always wanted Explorer to open directly to C:\
Your post gave me the solution.
I put -

%windir%\explorer.exe shell:MyComputerFolder\C:\

In the Target box.
It worked.
I'm glad you posted about this issue.

I knew HOW to do that. but my problem before was that i could not type a value in the target field. I couldnt place my mouse in that box. Not sure why. I did the reinstall and i was able to. Like i said, i think my admin privileges precluded me from typing there before....

You can put a shortcut to any folder you want on your Desktop or Start Screen, and then just click that instead of the File Explorer icon. It will still open in a File Explorer window with all the same navigation and other options.
