Solved Pictures Library with problems

It sounds like there's some sort of peculiar formatting thing going on with some of the pictures in OP's collection, maybe some sort of DRM or copyright protection.

Could be but some photos in the OP's website will save in .PEG and some in the same website will save in .JPG so it's not only some other differences from website to website but from photo to photo in the same website.

I'll have to Give Windows 8 high marks for this one. They flagged the problem and flashed it on the monitor.

Sorry to say NO I tried that and it just did not yield results.

The bizarre and difficult to understand origins of this probably lay beyond our capabilities to investigate, decipher, detect. My suspicion is that these photos may have been shot/obtained by different cameras under different circumstances.
