I have never had any issues connecting to my wifi here at home. I wanted to try disabling Windows Location Provider to test it out and suddenly I lost all ability to connect to wifi with just that laptop? I enabled it again and restarted my computer afterward, but it is still not connecting.
I am using my other laptop and I can connect to the wifi no problem. I already rebooted and even turned off my modem and router a couple times. I am currently living in Japan and I set the regional time to US, so I have the US time conveniently visible to contact friends and family living there. Could it be that since I am in Japan now and turned off the location provider, it sort of tripped up the gps system and my location suddenly disappeared off the radar? Would changing my region to Japan possibly fix this issue? I really need to get the wifi working on my other laptop right away as I use it for work.
I would appreciate any help from the experts on here.
