When I know that I won't be using my PC any time soon I turn it off. However, when I got to turn it back on I notice that I don't have an internet connection.
Yes I did:
In the end, what worked was for me to restart my computer and the connection would magically be there.
But the thing is, this has been happening to me every single morning for the past two weeks. Sure I could leave my PC on, but I did not always have this issue and leaving it on won't really fix it ...
Has anyone come across this issue before?
P.S. I am using Windows 8.1 Pro Preview
tl;dr
Internets not found when PC turned on.
Reboot PC fixes problem.
Need solution.
Thank you.
Yes I did:
- Check my other (wired) PCs and they were fine
- Check that my ethernet cable is plugged in - I also unplugged and plugged it back in (no difference)
- Log in and try to load up Google in case the connection was there, but the indicator was lagging or whatever (no difference)
- Try to do a ipconfig /renew (no difference)
