Thanks, but I'm not sure what this is. Express was a stripped down version of subsequent versions of the orig Picture It! which I bought when I had an Me computer, Microsoft discontinued Picture It! in 2006 and I see that it's been re-written by ??? up to version 10 with compatibility issues reported beyond Vista.
In the Microsoft Community, the MVPs all say that Picture It! is not compatible with 7 although some users report intermittent success using compatibility wizard. When I got my 8.1 computer a year ago, I tried this and it said it could not be installed at all due to missing components necessary to run on 8.1. I got my use out of the orig CDs so I'm not unhappy after using it for 10 yrs.

So Sorry, I just made a quick Google for "Picture It" since you said that was the program that worked for you!! If you want what you had before I suggest you make your own goggle search the program seems to still be available and has been updated to work in windows 8

You're welcome. I think you'll get used to it quickly. The interface is very intuitive and you just need to get used to the icons at the top. Enjoy !
