@ Jaidyn it'll be playing one game. Video and music renderer and that's about it. The need for so much RAM is due to background tasks such as Microsoft office and an incideous (if that's even a word) amount of chat clients. Such as MSN, AIM, YAHOO, IRC, and Skype all at the same time. As well as a very large amount of monitoring such as home and pc security, l33tsig, whatpulse, ect, ect.
It's not so much what is active that will bother me it's what is in background or inactive but resident.
@gary I would stay away from those sites, build your own, or even better help your local computer store stay in business and help him keep food on the table.
