How you took snap of this forum.
Did Firefox with metro available for download.
The Metro build is available from the link I posted earlier - Windows_8_Integration about half way down the page under the heading Metro Test Install.
Direct Link - 3-30 Fennec for Metro Rel, non-opt

I downloaded and I installed it but it doesn't open at all.
It fits in with the other Metro apps.
It looks horrible (it is probably lacking all the useful functions of the desktop version).
Hi there.
If that's all they have come up with I'm glad I'm sticking with IE. I can't see ANYBODY's appetite being whetted by those pics.
Firefox need to hire some Marketing guys PDQ I reckon.
Even a POC should show the possibility of Multiple Windows on a PC in Metro.
Firefox was great back in the old "Mozilla- Netscape" days -- but a bit like Nero they bloated it too much with myriads of "plug ins" and endless set of "preferences / options" or whatever.
Also unless any of these Metro browsers can show me at least TWO different Windows on the same screen of two different sites then it's NOT what I want or need on a desktop. - Might be fine having a single screen on a small smartphone or tablet -- but on a decent 60 inch LCD -- C'mon developers --have you left your brains behind on Planet Pluto or something.
I'll almost prophecy " Firefox on Windows R.I.P. Circa 2013 A.D". There will be Linux uses etc but I can't see this being very decently Windows User friendly especially with Multiple monitors and LARGE SCREENS.
Please everybody -- not everyone is going to run apps on a Mobile phone all the time. If W8 is designed as a Mobile phone / tablet OS so be it -- but since it WILL run on a "Proper" computer then it should behave like "proper computer apps" and allow multi windowing.
As long as you can still get a proper (desktop) version, Firefox should still exist.
I think that we can assume that MS will ignore everyone, until the "red ink" starts flowing.
Then they'll probably blame Internet piracy.
