When it comes to tablets, Microsoft and its OEMs don't know where they're going, an analyst said today. "There's still the idea that they don't quite get it," said Carolina Milanesi of Gartner in an interview. "And I don't think the vendors get it either."
Milanesi was reacting to the debut Monday of a pair of Windows devices, including one of the first 8-in. tablets to run Microsoft's newest operating system, and an offbeat hybrid that runs both Windows 8 and Android.
