I am really loving the change, everything is quicker and works well.
I have seen a number of comments that W8 is another Vista, I never had any problems with Vista, I Networked
three PC's with 1 Vista and 2 XP PC's, I could not manage that with W7 (W7 to 2 XP).
In my opinion Vista got a lot of bad rep from IT pros because the security controls meant they had to learn how to do it right.
Either way, thanks MS, W8 is clever stuff, just a warning to MS, stop trying to automate everything, if I wanted that I would have bought a MAC (which I did, but sold it because it wouldn't let me do my own thing).
Cheers
Daniel
