looking to perform a Clean install and need OEM iso

That new download will install with and activate with Windows 8.0 or 8.1 keys. I've verified it myself. The 8.0 Core key on my laptop was used automatically to install 8.1 Core. Normally, if your PC has an embedded OEM key and you get prompted for a key, it means you didn't install the correct version. Like installing Pro when the PC only came with Core. Or you installed Core and it came with the Single Language version of Core. You need to match the exact version for the key to work. I've seen it suggested that changing some BIOS settings, like turning secure boot off, can mess up the OEM key detection. I haven't confirmed it myself though and don't know if its true or not.

Very Good...i'll chose the 8.1 version and try....Thanks!

:thumb: There should be no need of generic install keys, if you install the correct version. The only thing better than this is the MSDN ISO. The MSDN ISO is multi edition, Core or Pro. If your OEM key is for Core it installs Core, if its a Pro key it installs Pro. No guessing what was originally installed. It's too bad they don't offer something like that to the general public. I have access because I have a subscription. I still like to test these other downloads myself so when somebody has a question I can give an informed answer.
