Internet Explorer 10

Probably from software indications in the registry. It may be wrongly identifying the version from here. (svc is the correct version)

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

Hi all
funnily enough it's the IMMERSIVE version that seems to get stuck from time to time - I don't actually like working that way in any case --I've got a large monitor so I like to have some menu and address bar items available.

The only problem I've had on the NON immersive version is with THIS very forum -- sometimes posting a reply won't actually post the item -- i've had to cut and past the post, exit IE10, come back again to the forum and then the post works !!!

I can't replicate this behaviour on the W7 forum but it's pretty consistent on W8. It could be something to do with JAVA enabled properly or not -- but it's a fairly trivial matter and I find the overall experience of IE10 together with W8 fine.

Cheers
jimbo

Hello everybody,

I have been playing around with IE 10, and have certainly noticed a difference.
In IE7,8 and 9, the web credentials used to be stored under: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\Storage2.

However in IE 10, I don't see them in that location. Does anybody have an idea where the webcredentials are stored, and if so how i could access them programmatically?

Thanks in Advance,
Nandu

I had this problem with IE 10 running on Windows 8 x64 bit on an AMD processor mc. After sleep browser freezes and reboot necessary to access Hotmail.
There is an official fix that I have tried which is an edit of a BIOS entry which I am assessing right now.
So far so good, the fix :

Administrators command prompt;
bcdedit/set disabledynamictick yes

I have a problem with it. I cannot print anything on a web page. As soon as I click "print", a message pops up that says, "An error has occurred in the script of this page." It will not allow me to print. It's too bad that we are stuck with 10.
