Install Windows 8-64 on Dell Optiplex?

I'm using a 32 bit computer can i just put the hard drive in to the other computer that is a 64bit

it's not the computer that is 32 or 64 bits, it's the OS ( ok at some extend the CPU have to support 64 bits )

I already installed Windows 8 pro x64 when I had the following specs: 2gb ddr2 ram 800mhz, intel core 2 duo 2.66 ghz, and ati radeon 2400 xt. It ran fine. Now i've upgraded to higher specs with more ram and better graphics card.
