(Toshiba Satelite 640 w/ Win 8.1 Pro x64)
So this is the problem. I have a dell monitor at an apartment and a samsung tv at another house. I move my laptop back and forth.
I left the settings for the Dell monitor and had it as "Make this my main display" where the built in display is extended desktop.
I plug the Samsung TV in and b/c of the settings and the resolution of the Dell it does not support that resolution. So I can't open the "Screen Resolution" page because it thinks it is putting it on the TV which is blank. I can't see where the mouse is to move it over. If you unplug the monitor to move it over to the built-in it no longer gives you options to the 2nd monitor settings to change the "make my main display" back to built-in while you adjust the resolution for the 2nd display.
See what I mean? How can I Move a window that is on a 2nd screen not showing back to the part of the extended desktop that is?
