Commander,
Everything you mentioned can be shut OFF, under Settings.
There have been multiple posts on the Windows 10 forums about that, and step by step procedures for disabling/plugging all the Security Holes.
I've printed out all the fixes and have them in a file folder. On a fresh Windows 10 install, it takes me about an hour to go through all the fixes, before I can even install "The Classic Shell" to get back my Programs Menu and make Win-10 look and act more like Windows 7.
Personally, I'm still running Windows 8.1 Pro/32 as my main OS. I doubt there will ever be anything that can make me upgrade to Windows 10.
Yes, Windows 10 is a Minefield, but those mines CAN be disabled.
I've told my customers, who ask about buying a new PC with Windows 10 on it, "when you get the PC home, don't even try to install it, call me and I'll install it for you and fix it so it will look just like your old PC".
Cheers Mates!
