Front Audio panel not working on Windows 8.1

I have read that and have hooked up my mobo on the HD port since its the only header with 4 headers which my front panel uses.

I just checked and the cable sits stable on the board :)

OK, just wanted to be sure. Did you try uninstalling the Realtek Audio Manager completely and rebooting to see if your headset port is now being detected?
How do I remove the Audio Manager? All I get is the Realtek HD Audio Driver.
