Far microsoft has come from windows 8 to windows 8.1u1.
- The integration of OneDrive into File Explorer.
- Being able to snap apps to 50/50 instead of just 25 or 75 % of the screen.
- ThisPC being a much better default location for File Explorer to open-up to, instead of Libraries, which I personally never used.
- The fact that we can now resize Start Screen icons with more customization.
I'm sure there's more instances I'm forgetting.
Anyways... I'm working on a Surface Pro 1, and I'm wondering if I move the recovery data off to a USB Pendrive, how does that affect my ability to use the built-in Refresh and Restore features in the future? Will they be useless unless I always have that USB pendrive to hand?
