Yes it have a factory reset but if i try to reset i get an error message that reads "file can not be located. And if i try to install a new windows 8 on the primary it gives me an error that reads "this is a gpt partition".

You'll need to convert the disk back to MBR in a command prompt at boot first using step 2 in in OPTION TWO of the tutorial below. You can do this by booting from your Windows 8 installation media (USB/DVD)
You probably just need to boot the Windows 8 Install media as UEFI. If you try to install the MBR version on a GPT drive, you will get the message. The links Shawn gave should show you how to boot it correctly.
