Imrankhan, considering it ships with Windows 8 32bit and has 2GB RAM, I'm not sure 64bit is wise on that hardware. HP designed it for Windows 8 32bit, so compatibility with the proper drivers and HP software (if desired) should be good.

Nope, my HP laptop is older and slightly weaker than the OP have, but runs Windows 8 Pro x64 flawlessly on 2GB of RAM.

Yes. I own a hp. While installing Windows 8. It won't ask for any product key. I just asks for activation after installation. The product key might be bundled with the system.

You said you purchased it now. So you need to get 64bit Windows installation image or DVD, and not 32bit.
Or Else you would get into trouble of hardware incompatibility, Like lesser RAM, Integrated graphics becomes non-responsive frequently. Because most HP notebooks come with uEFI and Secureboot feature to support windows 8 64bit (x64) only.

Distributing Windows 8 image is illegal and also downloading it from sources other than Microsoft is illegal too.
Get Windows 8 setup App from Microsoft.
Buy Product Key or get it from HP Support for your device. then download ISO.
Burn it Using Windows 7 DVD/USB tool.
Then Boot the media and install.

Actually, it is still legal to download Windows 8 RTM. And Actually, you pay for the license.
At some time, there might be Digital River download for Windows 8, like Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
