Hi there
Used a used once so nearly new DVD+RW Disc. Erased before each attempt to re-burn.
Same .ISO File - used NERO 2014 -- Verify errors, Windows built in burner -- also verify errors but K3B on Linux using GROWISOFS/ MKISOFS passed verify OK.
DVD plays without any problem on at least TWO different DVD players.
My gut feel is to trust the GROWISOFS / MKISOFS system - Nero IMO has always thrown up large numbers of "Verify" errors - Windows is better but still chucks out the odd Verify error.
If K3B chucks a Disk out then I've found it really IS unuseable.
Normally I don't use DVD's any more but I need to make some physical DVD's for some people to watch movies I've ripped -- they don't want to plug a computer in and watch them that way - and I've about 50 of these DVD's left.
Any comments on Nero / Windows built in burner. Imageburn on Windows also seems reasonably OK.
Cheers
