Stupid question, but how would those m Audio AV40's get physically hooked up to the sound card port (3mm plug)? My son has a pair of these in our home studio and I didn't think about using them.

These are the speakers I had....
This is what I've been using for 10 years and I love them. Unfortunately, they are dead. Note the volume controls, which I have really become attached to!!

I just added a 2nd GTX-660 SC video card in SLI for the heck of it. These are the latest pics from last Friday's maintenance work. It's running great! I'll spend a little more time this weekend cleaning up the cables and making things look neater. The PC is overclocked to 4.5GHz and has been for about a year and it's both fast and stable, which is what I wanted.
Hmph! My builds should look so great! Beautimous!

You're very welcome.
My ferrets are long gone . . . I just didn't think I could survive the loss of another one. The little critters just wrap themselves around one's heart and don't let go. Mine were mostly Charlie(s), Charlene, Caesar, Beethoven and a few others.
BTW, my alter-ego is StarFerret.
She'll appear in an upcoming novel I'm writing, that is, if I ever finish.

lol anyone that had a ferret named "Beethoven" is ok in my book. Did you know Beethoven used to play the guitar? Specifically, the lyre guitar.
It was such a big part of him that his tombstone features one. He must have been the world's first Van Halen or Jimi Hendrix or for you Texans, SRV or Eric Johnson:

My latest changes...
Switched to an EVGA GTX-770 video card and cleaned things up a bit. Replaced some smaller drives with 2 x 3TB WD Red NAS drives, configured in Windows Storage Spaces, which is very cool!
