Difficulty renaming/deleting folders (TRY AGAIN or CANCEL)

Sorry guys, I had to delete the post... the issue is still happening.

Is a reboot necessary?

I expect a reboot is necessary, or at least restarting Explorer. Also, there are a couple of thumbnail options in the Control Panel, System->Advanced System Settings->Advanced->Performance->Visual Effects I make sure are disabled.

After doing this, I search for thumbs.db and delete them all, if for no other reason than to clean up the drive. In Explorer, I believe you'd have to enable the showing of hidden files to do the search. Later on, you can repeat the search to determine if they're still being generated.
