I recently installed a defrag program called auslogics it says it defragged both C and D? I thought there was no access to D because it is my backup and restore disk? now i'm worried that D might have been compromised?
Very possible! Because the one time I tried Auslogic's Defrag, it made such a mess of my C: drive that I had to resort to a Ghost Restore, with a week old backup file, to get my drive back together again.
It had files scattered from one end of the drive to the other.
In my technical world, that defrag program is a total POS. To be the safest, use the one from MS that comes with every install of Windows.
