I have a Windows 8.1 Mesh desktop PC with which I use a ViewSonic VX924 LCD display. This was originally supplied to me with a previous PC and, when renewing my PC I kept the original monitor to use with it. It has been fine for the year since I got my new PC, but recently, when turning on the PC and monitor, instead of it starting up very quickly, it flashes on and off quite rapidly, while showing the word Digital in the bottom right corner of the screen. This can happen for as many as 20 times before the Digital word disappears and the monitor remains useable and I can then carry on using my PC. I wonder whether the monitor is now on it's last legs and if I am going to have to renew it fairly shortly. The PC that the monitor was supplied with was purchased in March 2006 and has been used daily ever since. Does anyone have any thoughts about my problem?
